Axalta PercoTop Basecoat, the heat resistant solvent-based basecoat from Axalta, is the ideal choice for high quality clear over base industrial painting jobs. PercoTop CS958 is a special industrial basecoat, based on acrylic and polyester resins, designed for painting bicycles, high-end furniture, signs shopfittings and any object requiring special design colours.

PercoTop CS958 Basecoat offers designers a wide range of options thanks to the availability of metallics and pearls.
Another benefit of PercoTop® Basecoat is the high temperature colour stability. This makes PercoTop Basecoat particularly suitable to be overcoated with powder clearcoats without yellowing or discoloration. It can be used in combination with a powder primer as well.

PercoTop Basecoat can be taped-off quickly, which makes it ideal for multi-toning: common practice when painting bicycles. PercoTop Basecoat can be applied using all usual coating processes such as conventional, HVLP, high-pressure, airless or airmix. PercoTop Basecoat meets all industrial finishing requirements for clear over base applications.
